For 14 years TownHouse Hotels has gone out of its way to give you the warmest welcome, the richest experiences and the fondest of memories. From the vision of its founders Ornella Borsato and Alessandro Rosso, TownHouse opened its first boutique hotel in Milan in 2001. Thanks to its young and international atmosphere the hotel quickly established itself in Milan’s busy hotel business. From that moment, the TownHouse name is synonymous with uniqueness, glamour, luxury and one-of-a-kind experiences.  Each hotel is an oasis of calm and charm at the crossroads of a civilisation. 2001 TownHouse 31 opens, offering a “home away from home” with an intimate ambient to relax after a shopping day or the vibrant Milan’s nightlife.

2004 TownHouse takes its expansion to Milan with the opening of TownHouse 12, a Milan’s “urban chick escape”. In the TownHouse 12 location, the group successfully launched the first Icebar in Italy, which takes on a new guise every year, designed by artists from all over the world.

2006 TownHouse debuts in Turin. At the heart of the city, TownHouse 70, Turin’s most gracious Boutique Hotel, create a refined retreat for the seasoned global traveller, setting itself apart from other luxury hotels in Turin.

2007 The group established the TownHouse Seven Stars Galleria, the first, European certified seven stars and the only hotel in Italy to be located inside a national monument, the renowned Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

2010 Growth in Milan with the opening of TownHouse 33, a relaxed and at-home sophistication that redefines the Milan boutique hotel experience.

2011 TownHouse opens its second property in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, The TownHouse 8 Galleria. As a vertical extension of the Seven Stars Galleria, the hotel holds on to its history while providing world-class accommodations.

2012 TownHouse creates, with the architect Simone Micheli, a new concept of Unconventional Urban Hospitality with the brand “Town House Street”. A structural revision and refurbishment of former street-level commercial spaces, transformed into private studios, an out of the ordinary experience for the well-travelled guest who is passing through Milan.

2015 Welcome Milano. The first and only luxury hotel in Duomo Square is now a reality. Superbly located in a fabulous historical building facing the Duomo Cathedral and Square, the new TownHouse Duomo by Seven Stars offer a unique and unparalleled experience.  

2015 and beyond… The group has on-going plans for the opening of boutique hotels in key cities in Italy and Europe.
